Expansion Slot Board Layout

This video slot uses a standard grid layout most players are familiar with. It has 5 reels and 4 rows.

Additional features such as stacked mystery symbols and directional wilds add quite a bit of excitement to the game.

Space Theme

When discussing the Expansion slot theme, many of the press releases have stated it is out of this world. While we do not agree with that completely, the game does follow a theme of space and other planets an astronomical adventure.

Additional symbols like wilds with a ray gun do add to the theme excitement a bit.

Brief Look at Game Symbols

Obviously a game theme of space you expect planets. The game symbols you will see are a star, blue planet, green planet, purple planet and a brown planet. The other minor symbols are the card symbols of the A, K, Q, J, 10.

Betsoft Expansion Slot Paytable

Based on the dynamic pay chart from inside the game we provide an example of match wins using a $1.50 bet.

• Star matches of 5 pay 5.00, 4 pay 2.50, 3 pay 0.75.
• Blue planet matches of 5 pay 4.00, 4 pay 1.75, 3 pay 0.60.
• Green, purple or brown planet matches of 5 pay 2.00, 4 pay 1.00, 3 pay 0.50.
• A, K, Q, J, 10 matches of 5 pay 1.25, 4 pay 0.75, 3 pay 0.40.

All match wins are counted left to right on a payline. Matches must be like symbols, or those with a wild substitute.

Stacked Mystery Symbols

A stacked mystery symbol, after landing will be replaced with one random symbol. This can add match wins that were not previously revealed

All mystery symbols will be replaced with the same symbol per spin. Mystery symbols can be replaced with any regular symbols.

Wild Symbol

The wild symbol acts as a substitute for all regular game symbols except the scatter.

Direction Wilds

The directional wild after landing and all reels stop has special functions. A ray gun appears and will spin. It will then fire in one of 8 possible directions. Wild symbols will then be placed along the path of the ray gun shot.

Directional wilds may only appear on the reels #2, #3 and #4. After a directional wild fires, it transforms into a regular wild symbol for substitution.

Scatter Symbols Award Free Spins

Scatter symbols can land anywhere on the game board and count anywhere.

• 3 scatter symbols award is 8 free spins
• 4 scatter symbols award is 12 free spins.
• 5 scatter symbols award you 15 free spins.

During free spins the directional wilds gain an extra blast from the ray gun. It spins and stops at one of the eight positions. Wilds will then be placed along the path. This process repeats once and stops at one of the 7 remaining positions.

Also during the free spins round random multipliers show on the indicator. This is updated each spin during the round. Multipliers will be chosen randomly of 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 8x or even 10x. Free spin round can re-trigger.

Bonus Round Buy-In

Any time you choose during regular spin play you can buy the bonus or free spins round. The cost is determined by the spin wager amount and is shown in the lower left of the game board in the ho[ping cart. Any bet adjustment is reflected immediately.

As a wrap up of the review we had fun writing this slot review. We like the theme but admittedly we are fans of space and many things space related.
