Although the game was initially released back in 2013, the graphics have been refreshed and it is a rather pleasant classic slot. As a classic you are presented with a 3 reel game with up to 5 lines of play.

Santastic Slot Theme

If you haven’t guessed yet the theme of this game is Christmas and Santa. You can expect to see symbols that represent the Christmas spirit as well as icons directly associated with Santa and the North pole.

Let’s Look at Santastic Symbols

For the premium symbol it is none other than Santa himself. Next up is Rudolph, then an elf, the north pole flag, and a snowman. The remaining symbols are a stocking of gifts, a pudding desert, candy cane, and finally a teddy bear.

Slot Pay Table

For match wins the payouts are not complicated. Each symbol has a base payout, and payout when combined with 2 substitutes.

• Santa matches of 3 = 100, 2 = 3 – with 2 substitutes 3 = 600 or 2 = 18.
• Rudolph matches of 3 = 50, 2 = 2 – with 2 substitutes 3 = 300.
• Elf matches of 3 = 30 – with 2 substitutes 3 = 180.

All line wins are multiplied by the bet per line. Matches must be exact icon matches on a payline.

Santastic Wild Symbols

Even though this is considered by many as a classic game it has 2 wild symbols. The wilds only land on reels#2 and #3. Wild symbols will substitute for any regular symbol on a line win.

The double wild can land on reel #2 and any line win using the double wild is doubled. Triple wild used in any winning combination will triple the win. If you land a double and a triple in a single payline the win will be 6x.

Festive Feast Feature

You trigger the festive feast feature any time you land a 3 of a kind of regular symbols on a payline. If you land multiple 3 of a kind symbols, you will play the feature rounds consecutively. The bonus meter will show the award of 2500x Bet Per Line, 1 or 3 Jackpot Spins, 3, 10 or 25 free games or No Bonus, as indicated.

All prizes are tripled during any free spins round. Bonus Meter instant prizes are multiplied by the bet per line of the triggering game.

Jackpot Symbol

1 jackpot spin is awarded if you land a jackpot symbol in the center of reel #2.

During jackpot spins all other symbols are greyed out. Landing 2 jackpot symbols on a payline is a payout of 10 and 3 awards the jackpot during the round.

Santastic slot has a progressive jackpot in the game. It is not a huge million dollar jackpot, but you can win hundreds of dollars. During one of our visits to play the game for the review the jackpot happened to to be just over $281.00.

Pay Lines Adjustable

The game has a total of 5 paylines however you can adjust that if you like. We honestly see very little reason to lower the number of win lines available but you can lower it to 1 if you choose.

Spin Range Amounts

The game does not offer a huge range of bets but when playing 5 lines you can bet from $0.50 up to $5.00 per spin. The adjustment comes from changing the bet per line from $0.10 up to $1.00 per line. This actually allows you a minimum per spin wager of $0.10, but you are honestly better playing all 5 lines.

Even though it is only a 3 reel game the rtp is reasonable at 95%.

Conclusion

This is one of those rare times where we actually enjoyed playing a classic slot and will likely play it again. We enjoy 5 or 6 reel games more often but this one is worth a few spins every so often. The wild symbols were frequent enough to keep up our interest and free spin round seemed to pay well. What we did not like was the fast version of the spin. While we understand a longer spin is not necessary, we just enjoy to see vthe reels spin a few seconds longer.
